Established in 1977, Berkshire Imaging (formerly known as Berkshire Private X-rays) is a private consortium of 13 Consultant Radiologists providing a full range of high quality imaging and radiological intervention in Royal Berkshire.
Berkshire Imaging services include plain x-rays, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Breast Imaging and Interventional Radiology.
We can guarantee that your examination or procedure will be performed and or interpreted by fully trained and regularly appraised Consultant Radiologists, who all hold local substantive NHS consultant posts in Berkshire and are on the GMC specialist register. |

Berkshire Imaging is based in Reading We provide imaging services at the radiology departments at Dunedin, Berkshire Independent and the Royal Berkshire Hospitals.
Interpreting images is much more than just picture recognition. Reporting radiologists need to take into account the medical history of the patient, their presentation and other results. To this end, Berkshire Imaging Consultants have the advantage of close clinical co-operation with the local referring Consultants, General Practitioners, Dentists, Physiotherapists and Chiropractors. Both we and our clinical colleagues place much emphasis on the trust that this daily interaction has developed over the years.
