Visitors can park on Levels 0, 1 and 2. The charges are currently £2.40 for 2 hours. It is then a short walk to the X-ray department (well sign-posted with frequent maps). The MRI and CT scanners and the Interventional suite are on Level 1 of the X-ray Department. The reception desk is facing you as you enter the X-ray department. Travelling to the Royal Berkshire HospitalBy foot:The hospital is a 10 minute walk from the Oracle shopping centre and around 20 minutes walk from Reading Railway station. Also, some Thames Travel buses stop at the hospital; for service details call 01491 837988 or visit www.busbook.co.uk By train: There are frequent services by train to Reading town centre from outlying areas served by the hospital. To address this the Trust and Thames Travel are currently running a Park & Ride scheme between the Madejski Stadium and the hospital. By bicycle: Bicycle racks are available near maternity, endoscopy, Battle Block, North Block, South Block and near the road entrance of the multi storey car park.
