Dr Lucy Childs

Dr Lucy Childs is a general radiologist with subspecialist interest in Neuroradiology.

She graduated with Honours from the University of Leeds Medical School in 2008.

She gained a First Class intercalated degree in Medical Microbiology in 2007.

Dr Childs completed Core Medical Training (CMT) completing her Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in London 2011.

Dr Childs undertook run-through radiology training at the Royal London Hospital and St Bartholomew’s Hospitals’ (Barts Health) and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) in 2015.

Dr Childs undertook a subspeciality Neuroradiology Fellowship at the Neurological Intervention & Imaging Service of Western Australia (NIISWA) in Perth, WA in 2018.

Dr Childs was a Consultant Neuroradiologist at Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital from 2019-2025.

Dr Childs was appointed as a substantive Consultant Radiologist at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust in 2025.
